Phantom Shock is a concept for a first-person shooter game that I developed as an assignment at the Vancouver Film School Game Design program. The project includes a concept document and a slide presentation.
In Phantom Shock, the player is an apprentice to a famous excorcist. A powerful demon kills the exorcist, and removes the player's left hand. This gives the apprentice spectral powers than can be used to fight demons and close rifts into other dimensions. The player then embarks on a journey to defeat the demon and prevent the apocalypse.
